Understanding and Choosing the Right Showerhead

About two thirds of Americans shower once a day, with the rest typically showering two to three times a week. It’s a consistent practice in every household, and the right shower head makes a bigger difference than you might think.

Choosing the right shower head makes an incredible impact on your daily routines. What is it you are looking for in a shower head? Does it have the right pressure? Is it versatile while also being aesthetically pleasing? Does it fit your budget? These are all questions to ask when searching for your new showerhead.

There are three types of shower heads to choose from. Fixed, rain shower, and handheld. Liquid Accents by Bath Concepts offers all three options in 5 different finishes; brushed nickel, matte black, brushed gold, chrome, and oil-rubbed bronze.

Bath Concepts also carries Moen and Delta showerheads.

Fixed Showerheads

Fixed showerheads are the most popular. You will typically find these showerheads in the average American household. Mounted directly out of the shower, water sprays at a 45-degree angle. It offers a dial-a-message feature, that as you rotate the head it will change water pressure and patterns. Of the three showerhead types, this tends to be the most budget friendly.

Liquid accents Stationary Showerhead is the best low-flow showerhead available, with 1.75 gallons per minute, using exclusive air injection for maximum thrust it offers incredible pressure that other low flow shower heads don’t. It has 64 clog-free nozzles, and 4 function dial-a-massage feature, that lets you choose from different spray modes.

Rain Showerheads

More contemporary in style, considered to be more aesthetically pleasing is the rain showerhead. Typically 8” in diameter, the water sprays from directly above you at a vertical angle. Often described as feeling like you are standing under a waterfall. Once someone transitions to a rain showerhead, they never want to go back to a conventional fixed shower head!

Liquid Accents Rain Shower has 90 clog-free nozzles, includes an arm extension, and is budget friendly.

Handheld Showerheads

Becoming increasingly popular, the handheld shower head has a 5 foot hose enabling you to spray every part of your body. It’s ideal for bathing dogs and small children as it has a longer reach, and can offer a more pinpointed clean. Optional slide bar can be installed for when the handheld shower head is mounted to be adjustable to different heights. Often handheld showerheads have the lower amount of pressure.

Liquid Accents Handheld Showerhead has a 60-inch hose, and 48 clog-free nozzles. This creates a gentle handheld spa, great for independently rinsing long hair, or pinpointed cleaning.

You can also optionally have a handheld showerhead along with a rain shower head or fixed showerhead. Using an in-wall diverter, it diverts water flow between the 2 showerheads. Giving you a dual option to switch between the two at your convenience.
